The previous owner finished all of the mechanical systems, installed a new interior, and painted the car. This car is restored to a driver grade, and needs nothing to use and enjoy as a cruiser. Mechanically, this car performs great with its original 409 driveline. The engine pulls strongly, does not smoke or leak, and the car shifts very smoothly. The brake system was just replaced. Cosmetically, the paint is about 5 years old, and done to a driver grade. No rust anywhere, and the frame and floors are totally solid. The VIN decodes this to a 1963 2 door sport coupe with a V8 (31867). In #1 condition these cars sell in the upper $30’s. Drive this one and have as much fun for less than half that amount. Body: -Car was repainted some years ago, I would rate it 7.5 out of ten. There are a few minor chips (see pictures). It is a good 5 footer paint job. -Very solid car with good floors, and a near perfect frame. A small patch panel was welded into the rear passenger floor area, but it was done nicely. -Can find no evidence of accident damage. No dings or dents. -There is not one rust bubble on the car, none! -Quarter panels have been replaced. -Body and door seams are very straight and true. -Doors close solid with no sag, no rust on door bottoms or in jams. -Hood and trunk alignment are excellent. -Trim is all present and of good quality. -Trunk is in very good condition, has a little bit of that “humidity rust” that grows under the rubber mats. Mechanical: -Car drives very strong, very solid feel, goes down the road straight and smooth. Had it up to 75 mph today and it was totally comfortable. -The 409/340hp Engine looks to be original and starts and runs very well. It idles smoothly and pulls right up to redline. This big block has a lot of power. -Recent service invoice includes valve job and new head gaskets. -The 4 speed Muncie trans feels great, with a new clutch. -Factory Tach, works but calibration a bit off. -Manual brakes are new and work great, replaced all cylinders, master, fluid, and rear brake lines. -Has dual exhaust and original exhaust manifolds. -Tire tread ok, new steel wheels painted red. -Dash gauges all work fine. -Heater and vent system/ blower works excellent on all speeds. -Aftermarket oil pressure gauge under dash. -All lights work fine. -Wipers work fine. Interior: -New cloth interior with split bench seat -Door panels and carpets were also replaced. -Headliner new, but the rear bow slipped and sags a bit, easy fix. -Dash has been recovered in Vinyl and looks nice. -Passenger window regulator needs replacing, a $90 part at Impala Bob’s. -AM/FM cassette player works fine. Pickup and terms: No problems driving this car home. Will take to the Baltimore port for shipping overseas for a $200 fee, or deliver to a local shipper for free. I have a lien free PA title. Drives great, High Performance Impala

This Impala 409/340hp 4 speed is a ready to enjoy performance cruiser. The previous owner finished all of the mechanical systems, installed a new interior, and painted the car. This car is restored to a driver grade, and needs nothing to use and enjoy as a cruiser.

Mechanically, this car performs great with its original 409 driveline. The engine pulls strongly, does not smoke or leak, and the car shifts very smoothly. The brake system was just replaced.

Cosmetically, the paint is about 5 years old, and done to a driver grade. No rust anywhere, and the frame and floors are totally solid. The VIN decodes this to a 1963 2 door sport coupe with a V8 (31867).

Body:

-Car was repainted some years ago, I would rate it 7.5 out of ten. There are a few minor chips (see pictures). It is a good 5 footer paint job.

-Very solid car with good floors, and a near perfect frame. A small patch panel was welded into the rear passenger floor area, but it was done nicely.

-Can find no evidence of accident damage. No dings or dents.

-There is not one rust bubble on the car, none!

-Quarter panels have been replaced.

-Body and door seams are very straight and true.

-Doors close solid with no sag, no rust on door bottoms or in jams.

-Hood and trunk alignment are excellent.

-Trim is all present and of good quality.

-Trunk is in very good condition, has a little bit of that “humidity rust” that grows under the rubber mats.

Mechanical:

-Car drives very strong, very solid feel, goes down the road straight and smooth. Had it up to 75 mph today and it was totally comfortable.

-The 409/340hp Engine looks to be original and starts and runs very well. It idles smoothly and pulls right up to redline. This big block has a lot of power.

-Recent service invoice includes valve job and new head gaskets.

-The 4 speed Muncie trans feels great, with a new clutch.

-Factory Tach, works but calibration a bit off.

-Manual brakes are new and work great, replaced all cylinders, master, fluid, and rear brake lines.

-Has dual exhaust and original exhaust manifolds.

-Tire tread ok, new steel wheels painted red.

-Dash gauges all work fine.

-Heater and vent system/ blower works excellent on all speeds.

-Aftermarket oil pressure gauge under dash.

-All lights work fine.

-Wipers work fine.

Interior:

-New cloth interior with split bench seat

-Door panels and carpets were also replaced.

-Headliner new, but the rear bow slipped and sags a bit, easy fix.

-Dash has been recovered in Vinyl and looks nice.

-Passenger window regulator needs replacing, a $90 part at Impala Bob’s.

-AM/FM cassette player works fine.
