Ford : Model A 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Hot Rat Rod Rumble Seat Picture(s) and Description:

Ford

Selling my 1929 Model A Roadster. Looking for a project? The '28-'29, in this body style, is (in my opinion) the best of the Model A's. Has rumble seat lid. Car is fairly complete. I've purchased a couple of missing items like two 21 inch wheels, another hood with fairly decent sides and a used radiator (correct '29) that appears to be in excellent condition. As you can see, car needs a complete restoration. Prior owner removed head and oil pan (still with car) and other parts from motor. Has some filler and may need some sub-rail repair, though clearly a buildable car. Front passenger fender has been repaired. Driver's side running board is in poor condition as are both running board aprons. No top mechanism. No seat springs. Does not run and I don't know condition of motor, trans, rear or brakes. I know the radiator looks rough and that's why I purchased a good looking used one (not pictured). These roadsters are becoming difficult to find in buildable condition and I'm willing to part with this one for a reasonable price. For sale locally with plenty of folks expressing interest, but I have yet to see $$$. I reserve the right to end auction early if someone comes through with cash. Alabama is a non-title state on pre-'74 vehicles (your own DMV can confirm this), so sold on bill of sale (from me to you) only. SOLD AS IS WHERE IS WITH ALL IMPERFECTIONS. I would greatly prefer to sell this to someone willing to come look at it. I believe that you'll realize upon inspection that I'm willing to sell for a fair price. Buyer pays all transport costs. CASH ONLY. Call with questions (251) 463-8393. The '27 Model T Tudor is NOT part of this auction, though I may be listing it soon. It has been mechanically (motor, trans, rear, radiator) restored (with 12V and distributor) and is the best running Model T I've ever owned.
