For your consideration is this 1929 Model A Ford Pickup. This came from the estate of the man that refurbished the truck. There was no documentation on the work performed. The good news: What you are bidding on is fresh, older amateur restoration ( Body off ). Fresh paint, roof material, upholstery and wiring. New radiator stone guard, wood in bed, 6 volt battery, starter, clutch and flywheel and more. Has down draft Ford 2 barrel carburetor and exhaust header along with 16 in wheels. Runs and drives. Has current Ca. registration. The bad news: There are scratches in the paint from storage and the paint was applied over not perfect metal. There are runs in the paint. There are a few blisters under the lower doors lip but not to bad. None in the cowl section. The front tires will need replacing. Worn tread. The car is located in La Verne, Ca. just east of Los Angeles. Your personal or agent inspection is welcome prior to the end of the auction, not after. This is being sold as is, where is. This is also advertised locally. Winner of auction is responsible for all transportation. I can move it locally up to 200 miles for a fee. The car must be moved within 2 weeks of the close of the auction. This also comes with a clear, current Ca. registration. For some unknown reason it is registered as a 1930 (January build numbers) The motor number doesn't match and is for a 1929. A $500.00 dollar non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hrs of the close of the auction. Balance in a cashiers check or cash in person. Check must clear before the truck is released.
