This truck is titled as a 31 but is a 1930 Ford Model A pickup. I picked it up from a guy who purchased it at an estate sale. It was stored indoors in California for about 45 years. It appears that someone started to restore it years ago. The frame and running gear is in great shape and it runs and drives great. Someone stripped the hoods, fenders and running boards then primed them with red oxide primer. They are in very good shape and rust free. The cab is also in great shape and only had rust in the rear cab corners and the back of the cab. I have already cut out and replaced the rust from the back of the cab and the repaired areas are still in bare metal. There are currently three Kelsey Hayes 16" wheels on the truck and one FMC 16" wheel (not the red wheels in the pictures). The tires are shot but hold air for a while. I drove the truck around and it runs great and brakes work well and it shifts great. I had the seat recovered and I fabricated new wooden floor boards for it. I have a bed for it but it is not from this truck. It is a 31 Wide bed with a steel floor. It's not as nice as the rest of the truck but it is usable. There is rust in the front bed panel, a little on the right bed panel and the tailgate is pretty damaged along the top edge from things being dropped on it. I have two sets of rear fenders that all need work but there are enough pieces there to make one good pair. It was titled last in 1962 in California and I have the last registration, a set of clean black and yellow 1962 California plates and the title for it thet all match. THINGS THAT ARE MISSING: Rear glass, side glass and window regulators, headlights and brackets, amp meter, the vinyle top and some of the wiring. It may be missing some other small items but I m not much of a Model A guy so if you don't see something just ask and Ill see if I have it. I can mount the bed on for shipping if you need me to.
