1931 FORD MODEL A VICTORIA Good rebuildable project cars are getting harder to find every day. This is especially true with the more desirable makes and body styles such as the Ford Victorias. This is a great start for someone as it is very solid and mostly complete. Whether you are looking for a car to restore to origional or build a hot rod this car will have you in the garage working instead of on the phone or internet hunting the next needed part. This car starts easily, goes through the gears, steers, and stops. However the car will need to be gone over before being road-worthy. The frame and drive train are very solid. This car needs a complete restoration and has issues as do most 78 year old cars. The most noticable being damage to the roof. This is a cloth topped Victoria. These cars had the entire roof covered in padded canvas from the factory. As they aged, the canvas held water causing the wood and the metal underneath to deteriorate. Wood kits are readily available and my intent was to trim steel panels from other Model A body styles to replace the damaged ones in the roof. A couple weekends of creative metal working could turn this car into something to be proud of. I do have two panels which I intended to use and are available for an additional cost. Please look at all the pictures. If you need more pictures let me know. All bidders are encouraged to inspect this car before bidding. DRIVETRAIN This car has stock running gear wich includes the following: 4 cylinder engine 3 speed transmission Banjo rear Origional wheels and tires have been replaced with the 16 inch wheels and tires shown Mechanical brakes Email any questions.
