1965 Mustang Up for sale is a very nice and original 1965 Ford Mustang with factory A/C. I purchased this pony from the original family here in southern California and they told me it has never left the state. It has absolutely no rust anywhere! Mechanically it’s in excellent shape and all it needs now is just paint.. Current and clear CA title in hand ready to be transferred to the new owner. Drive train: Original 6cyl engine and automatic transmission (both rebuilt 3 years ago and have less than 10k miles on them). Bland new battery, starter, fuel pump, spark plugs, filters, and all fluids just changed last week. The rear end was replaced with that of a 65 V8 mustang’s, I believe it’s an 8.8. This beauty runs great, doesn’t overheat, starts every time, and is great on gas! It’s very reliable and would make a great daily driver or weekend cruiser. Brakes & Suspension: Rebuilt 4 wheel drum brakes and brake lines replaced recently, car stops great. Suspension and steering is mostly original but in great shape. No squeaks or rattles. Handles great at all speeds. Slot Mag wheels and good tires. Body: The car has all original sheet metal in great shape. No rust at all. No bondo used. Bodywork is mostly done and just needs paint. I removed most of the emblems last week because I wanted to paint the car but decided to leave it up to the new owner to choose the color. I can have it painted for an extra $1,000 on top of the final sale price if you decide you want it painted. All glass and chrome is original and in excellent shape. New weather stripping in front windshield. Electrical: Headlights, turn signals, brake lights, wipers, and parking lights are all in good working condition. All gauges work fine with the exception of the temp gauge (just needs a new $15 temp sensor). The A/C blows cool but could probably use a recharge to blow ice cold. What it Needs: Paint, A stereo system, I was going to get an original one off eBay and just install an aftermarket radio in the glove box. A good home with someone who has the time to drive her =) Overall this Pony is in great shape and would make a great daily or weekend show car with a little work.
