Hi, up for auction is a very clean original beautiful example of a well maintained 1965 Volvo P1800S. The "S" badge represents this particular Volvo was built in Sweden. So, here before you is a Northern California blue/yellow plate P1800. This Volvo is clean, solid and straight thru-out. The P1800 has only logged 43,128 original miles and has always been here is California. This is a numbers matching car equipped with the 1800cc motor and four speed transmission with factory overdrive. This was also equipped from the Volvo dealer with air condioning!! The car runs and looks great, I drive this car, and when I do, I get looks and thumbs up everywhere I go. Everything works, from the factory overdrive down to the horn. This Volvo is a time piece and original thru-out down to the beauty rings and hubcaps. The interior is 100% all original and still sports all original seats, carpet, headliner and doorpanels, nothing has been modified or changed,with the exception of a stero cassette player, which fit in it's exsisting radio opening, again nothing has been cut. The exterior trim, chrome and stainless is in excellent condition, nothing bent, missing or damaged. There is NO rust on this car. Window roll up and down with ease, no damage or flaws to the glass. All the doors, trunk and hood line up perfectly as does all body line's, this Volvo P1800 has never been in a car accident. Trunk area is clean solid free of rust and damage and still has the original spare tire as well as the original spare tire cover. The Volvo is currently registered here in California and the registration is valid thru January 2011. The clear California title is in my name as well as in my hand. The exterior paint still shines very nicely as you can see in the pictures, it does however has a few areas of checking, the previous owner had a shop re-spray the top some time back and it is in my opinion a 1/2 shade off. This is a great classic car that runs great and looks cool doing it. This is a icon, own a piece of history, this is a car you sure don't see everyday.
